Patented solutions

ULTRAMAX is characterised by its large filter mass. Patented solutions such as the prefilter, the double ball valve system and the self-priming filter system guarantee user comfort and high filtration performance.

Prefilter

A capacious 1.5 litre prefilter built into the lid of the unit effectively traps large debris, significantly reducing the frequency of filter maintenance. Cleaning the prefilter itself is very simple and does not even require the unit to be removed from the cabinet. All you have to do is lift the lid, remove the sponge from the basket and rinse it under running water.

Double ball valve system

Aquarists know that a critical stage of work requiring access to the inside of the filter is usually the disconnection of the inlet and outlet hoses from the unit. The remaining water in the filter usually spills out onto the floor, which causes justifiable irritation. To avoid this, a patented double ball valve system was used. They simultaneously close the filter inlet and outlet in the lid and the hoses and block uncontrolled escape of water.Self-priming system

All you need to do is make 2 to 4 movements with the piston and that’s it. The filter will be flooded with aquarium water. Easy?Smooth performance regulation

Controlling the performance of the filter is extremely simple and intuitive. To do this you simply need to turn the small lever of the right valve. It is convenient to use and clearly labelled, making performance regulation easy for aquarists, even when done for the first time.

Effective

A large number of filter cartridges housed in baskets of 1.9 litres each provide effective mechanical and biological filtration. The number of baskets ranges from 3 to 5, which, in combination with the prefilter capacity, offers a total capacity of 6.3 to 10.10 litres for filter media.

Discreet

The well-thought-out design of the pump impeller and its chambers as well as the ceramic impeller axis ensure almost inaudible operation of the filter, so you can put the aquarium even in your bedroom or the room where you are working.

The Ultramax aquarium filter is supplied complete with appropriately selected cartridges for mechanical and biological filtration, as well as the necessary accessories. This means that you can be sure that your Ultramax is ready to work as soon as you purchase it. Furthermore, Ultramax allows for flexible configuration of filter media. This allows you to tailor the operation of the filter to the needs of your tank.

Low electric power consumption

All ULTRAMAX filter models are characterised by very low electric power consumption. The ULTRAMAX 1000 has a wattage of only 15 W, the ULTRAMAX 1500 – 16 W and the ULTRAMAX 2000 – 24 W. Thanks to the modifications of the filters, the 2000 model produced from 8 September 2023 onwards has had its energy consumption reduced by almost 30% and is currently only 17 W.

Choose your ULTRAMAX

There are three models in the line, varying in performance. Choose the one best suited to the needs of your aquarium: ULTRAMAX 1000 is designed for tanks up to 300 litres, ULTRAMAX 1500 up to 450 litres and ULTRAMAX 2000 up to 700 litres.
